GFRP rebar for floors, basements and chemical plants

Industrial slabs and basements see wash-down, mild acids and a damp subgrade. Steel mesh rusts at the joints first.

Where it is specified

  • Warehouse and industrial floor slabs
  • Basements and foundations in a high water table
  • Compound walls and drains
  • Floors inside chemical and process plants

GFRP is strong in tension along the bar and does not yield. Slab design must use FRP rules, especially for crack width.
