FAQ
Questions before you specify the bar.
Short answers on GFRP rebar, fibreglass rebar, price per kilogram, and how it differs from TMT.
GFRP (glass fibre reinforced polymer) rebar is a composite reinforcing bar made from continuous E-glass fibres bound in a thermoset resin such as vinyl ester or epoxy. It is used instead of steel rebar in concrete, especially where corrosion is a concern. It is also called fibreglass rebar or a glass fibre rod.
