Consultants in India now write GFRP to Indian documents, not only to a foreign datasheet. This page is a map of those names. It is not a claim that Trumbak holds a BIS licence. We do not print a licence number here. If your tender needs a licence, ask us what we can attach to that enquiry.

IRC:137-2022
Indian Roads Congress guidelines for GFRP reinforcement in roads, highways and bridges. This is the document a highway consultant will open, not IS 456 with a swapped bar.
ASTM D7957
US material specification for solid round GFRP bars. Useful when a contract is written to ASTM instead of BIS.
ACI 440.1
US design guide for concrete reinforced with FRP bars. Often the reference when an Indian FRP design needs a worked method.
BIS itself notes that IS 18256 bars are aimed first at lower-risk elements unless the engineer certifies the element. For roads and bridges, IRC:137 is the document to open. Read GFRP for bridges and the comparison with TMT.
